To develop a text to speech acoustic model to properly pronounce Namibian names in Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, including those with click sounds from the Khoekhoegowab language.
Wrong pronunciation of names distorts their meaning and can be offending to native speakers. Tools that exist were not developed with the correct acoustic model and orthography to accommodate the LRL.
